Our client specializes in designing, manufacturing, and installing bespoke solutions that transcend complexities. They are currently recruiting for an Welder/Fabricator. Whether it's temperature control, pollutant removal, or noise limitation, they rise to the challenge, ensuring optimal functionality.
Salary and shift:
* £15.50 per hour
* Monday – Thursday, 0800 – 1630, Fridays 0800 – 0330
Role:
Working under the day -to-day control of the Operations Supervisor the Welder/Fabricator in conjunction with other team members will perform various engineering activities including Fabrication, assembly, install, and repair of the sheet metal products and equipment.
The Welder/Fabricator in conjunction with all team members will maintain a high lever of housekeeping and build cleanliness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Proficient welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc, etc.)
* Interpret prints and engineering drawings and apply fabrication or welding techniques
* Must have a high mechanical aptitude and be able to use various mechanical hand/power tools and general engineering equipment
* 3 -5 years of proven experience in fabricating fields are required and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.
Candidate:
* Apprentice trained Welder/Fabricator
* Certificates in welding preferred
* The ability to understand engineering drawings
* A comprehensive understanding of safety procedures
