Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield
Payrate: £95 to £105 per day
Start Date: Immediately
GSL Education is seeking inspiring and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistants to join our client primary schools in Sheffield.
The main duties as a Early Years Teaching Assistant will include:
Supporting the pupils in their Early years education
Supporting and managing behaviour
Working with the class teacher to implement interventions
Supporting and delivering creative and innovative lessons
Using formative and summative assessment
Assessing phonics following the school’s chosen program
Promoting independence with life skills
Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care
The ideal candidate will:
Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with us)
A fully checkable work history
Must have a driving license.
Preferably should have business insurance and be committed for long term.
Candidate must be in good mental and physical health and also must be a resilient and reliable individual.
Must be able to work with vulnerable and challenging pupils in a school environment.
