Manual Machinist
Doncaster – up to £38k plus O/T – days only
Manual Machinist responsibilities:
A Conventional Turner, Miller and Driller is required on a permanent basis to strengthen the engineering team
Setting and running centre lathes, milling and machines
Making sure you meet daily production and quality targets
Ensuring that all work is carried out within health and safety guidelines and ensure good housekeeping standards
To be successful, the Manual Machinist will have:
Previous experience setting and running centre lathes, milling, and drilling machines
Previous experience working within a production environment
Capable of machining small to medium sized parts
Experience machining a range of metals
Excellent attention to detail
A team player with a professional approach and a positive, flexible “can do” attitude
The benefits of the Manual Machinist position include:
Salary up to £38k plus O/T – days only
Hours: 8am-5pm Monday to Friday
Payrate: up to £18p/hr DOE plus overtime of x1.5 over 40 hours
Holidays: 20 per year plus bank holidays
