Located in the picturesque Harrogate area, the schools dedicated team are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our students and empowering them to reach their full potential.

Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the team and contribute to the success of the SEMH school. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff, support students in their academic and personal development, and play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide targeted support to students with SEMH needs, both in and out of the classroom.
Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
Assist in the development and implementation of Education care plans (ECP's) for students.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting emotional well-being and positive behavior.
Lead small group interventions to support students' social and emotional development.
Contribute to the assessment and tracking of students' progress, providing feedback to teaching staff and parents.
Work collaboratively with other professionals, including educational psychologists and external agencies.Qualifications and Experience:

HLTA or strong relevant TA experience.
Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs.
Strong understanding of SEMH strategies and interventions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
