IT Account Manager

The Role:

As an IT Account Manager, utilising our existing data you’ll be following up leads and enquiries to create and build your own base of accounts. You’ll be arranging telephone and Teams virtual meetings with decision makers within corporations of all sizes.

Working with guidance and support from our experienced team, you will be assisting your customers with their IT requirements, sharing technical, logistical, and product advice with them to ensure a complete sale and grow your potential accounts. You will be in close communication with our Testing, Goods Out, Accounts and Purchasing teams so great communication skills and approachability are very important… We are one team.

Our office is busy and fun so an equally a positive and happy attitude is required. Most importantly we need a self-motivated and responsible person with confidence in your own abilities to achieve targets.

Role Responsibilities:

· Outbound calling to generate new sales opportunities

· Follow a customer centric sales process to ensure you deliver the right solution for your customer’s needs.

· Attending client Teams meetings to present a solution and sell the Techbuyer value, with the support of your colleagues.

· Gain knowledge to have the ability to provide commercial and technical advice to your potential customers – Full training will be provided!! You will learn A LOT from your super supportive colleagues.

· Liaising with other departments to ensure orders taken are correct, in stock, tested, and shipped correctly. You can “run your own business” to make it a success.

· Accountability and honesty in communication with colleagues

· Maintaining our CRM in a timely manner to keep in regular contact with potential and existing customers

· Attending industry roadshows when required

· Identify and propose suitable examples for marketing case studies

· Achieve monthly KPI’s and GP targets

Desirable Skills & Personal Qualities:

· Interest in and enthusiasm to work in the IT industry

· A proven track record in sales

· A ‘can do, no quit’ attitude is most welcome!
