A smaller than average school in Huddersfield are looking for a year 4 teacher with a view to starting in September 2024, the duration of the contract will run until the end of the school year in July 2025. The school are a very pleasant and welcoming rural setting on the outskirts of Huddersfield, with smaller than average cohort in year 4. However, the significance of the year for both the school and its children is huge. School are looking to recruit a teacher who is able to offer an uninterrupted commitment to the children and guide them through to the end of the term.
Ideally, the school are looking to recruit a candidate who has worked in year 4 previously; or a teacher who is well versed in the expectations and curriculum in Key Stage 2. Although a temporary contract, you will be responsible for the class, meaning that you will be fully immersed in the school with your time also extending outside of the classroom. Your time will encompass extra curricular activity, parent's evenings, staff meetings and anything else that would usually accompany a full time commitment in a school.
