About Us:

Tweezerman UK supplies Beauty Tools and Accessories (Tweezers, Eyelash Curlers, Nail Files, Cosmetic Brushes etc.) to all major retailers in the UK and Ireland.

Our brands include TRUYU, Tweezerman and a number of Private Label and Exclusive Label brands. Our core brands are sold internationally in over 67 different countries, although the scope of this role is specific to the UK and Ireland.

Our UK turnover is over £8m and we have a team of 19 people with 12 office based in our office in Edwalton, Nottingham.

Group head office is in Dusseldorf, Germany and there are production facilities in China and India. Tweezerman brand head office is in New York, and The TRUYU Global Brand team is based in our Nottingham head office.

About the role:

To manage the sales of our Beauty Tools and Accessories in all of our national grocery retailers, across all of our brands including Private Label where appropriate. 2 direct reports, a National Account manager (Professional and Independents) and a Junior Account Manager (online accounts).

Responsibilities:

* Full P&L responsibility for all Sales to include monthly reporting to provide transparency across the business in order to support business decisions.

* Preparation, management, implementation and measurement of overall budgets internally and for submission to the Zwilling Beauty Group

* Prepare and share customer performance data as part of the reporting pack to support proposals and challenges internally and externally.

* Building and maintaining a collaborative relationship with the Sales and Marketing Director and other internal teams to support the delivery of the sales strategy to maximise business opportunities with new and existing customers.

* Lead and motivate the sales team to deliver the sales strategy and annual business plan by setting and communicating clear objectives and targets; regularly reviewing performance against targets and implementing plans and processes to support any corrective actions required.

* Jointly develop, agree and support customer business plans.

* Develop, implement and review customer specific promotional activity in line with agreed business plans and internal targets and requirements.

* Develop and implement POS & merchandising solution to raise brand awareness instore.

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new National Accounts at all levels within the organisation, with priority given to key decision makers.

* Individually and through the sales team, grow our business profitably and drive the customer category.

* Supporting the sales team to develop, agree and implement joint customer business plans using all available resources to maximise impact and output.

* Undertake detailed range reviews as required delivering a positive outcome for Tweezerman UK.

* Support the supply chain within the account through accurate forecasting and delivery using all available data in order to exceed targets.

* Consistently and continually strive to find commercial solutions to internal and external challenges.

* Improve upon listings for all new products and brands, agreeing additional distribution/space for brands where appropriate.

* Identify potential new customers and working with the Sales and Marketing Director and the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement an individual approach to secure new business.

* Use all available resources (data) to continually review and monitor competitors' activities and market trends informing the business of all material changes that could have a business impact on Tweezerman UK.

* Responsible for the professional presentation of all ranges and new products with head office buyers and corporate clients.

* Attend corporate launches and industry exhibitions ensuring all appropriate promotional tools are available to maximize all opportunities.

* Carry out all necessary follow up work in a timely manner.

Key Requirements:

* Must have retail grocery sales experience. Experience and a background of sales and account management in a similar role within FMCG is essential.

* A very high level of commercial acumen with an ability to clearly demonstrate an understanding of financials (P&L, budgets, profitability and margins). Must be analytical and very comfortable with analysing, interpreting and presenting data.

* Proven track record of success in terms of sales and profit growth. Provide evidence of achievement of sales and profit targets, increase in turnover of an established client base and expansion of portfolio.

* Strong evidence of networking, influencing and negotiation at all levels within an organisation.

* Able to demonstrate a real passion, especially for all things 'Beauty' with obvious focus on Beauty Tools and Accessories.

* Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written with a creative flair for preparing and delivering outstanding and sales focussed presentations.

* First class negotiation skills.

* Highly motivated, self-starter who is flexible and adaptable.

* Willing and able to travel nationally on a regular basis with overnight stays if necessary. A low level of international travel may be required (Germany, USA - hence a valid passport is essential)
