We are recruiting for a Building Surveyor (2-3 months temporary work) for our client covering social housing.
Main duties will be; stock condition surveys, voids, responsive repairs, capital repairs.
Maintenance surveyor for approximately 2-3 months work
Responsible for the supervision of Repair and Maintenance Operatives undertaking responsive repairs tosocial housing.
To inspect and order responsive repairs including the specification of materials, empty property repairs andresponsive maintenance programmes / contracts and liaise with customers as required.
Responsible for allocating work to council appointed contractors, monitoring, and signing off work followingsatisfactory completion.
Responsible for responding to reports of disrepair and/or repairs service-related complaints, undertakinginvestigations, and working closely with legal services in respect of disrepair claims.
To provide support and guidance to Repair and Maintenance Operatives
To undertake site visits to assess progress and give direction to R & M Operatives
To ensure that all customer queries are responded to within specified time frames, including request fortenant's own improvement work.
To work closely with Adult and Children Services with regard to adaptation requests and raise appropriatework orders for minor/intermediate adaptation works.
To work closely with Capital Improvements in the development of the clients rolling improvement plan
Liaise with legal services to establish property boundary ownership and repair liabilitiesFor more information please apply today
