Multi Skilled Engineer
Purpose of the Role:
To ensure that all site equipment is fully maintained at all times and available to run safely and to optimum production speeds with assured reliability and minimal downtimes. All processes, equipment and machinery must comply to strict technical standards and deliver high quality products conforming to all current food safety regulations.
Working with the site engineering Manager, other members of the engineering team and wider production team, including shift Managers, QA's, line leaders and Operators. In manufacturing, packing and logistics areas, ideally you should have served a recognised apprenticeship with relevant qualifications with either a mechanical or electrical bias. Have good logical diagnostic skills for trouble shooting, and ideally be familiar with planned maintenance systems and be computer literate.
Responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of our production machinery, leading productivity improvements within both daily and project based activities. This includes new products, packaging or equipment introduction and manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste, improve quality and safety. Always with the aim to reduce operating costs.
We are looking for engineers for our days (6am - 6pm) working 7 days over 14 on the panama shift pattern.
