We are currently recruiting for a highly organised, qualified Auditor/Project co-ordinator to join our existing team.

The successful candidate will undertake the following main Duties and Responsibilities:

To lead on external audits and liaise with funding partners.

To conduct monthly internal funding audits aligned to the deep dive audit strategy.

Prepare clear and concise audit reports, documenting findings and recommendations.

To recommend system controls and improvements to funding documentations

Identify company strengths and weaknesses and recommend strategies to optimise efficiency.

To create, implement and deliver training aligned to new funding paperwork.

To deliver training sessions to internal staff to drive continuous improvements aligned to funded activity.

To develop funding and compliance paperwork in line with contracts and requirements

To ensure webforms through the MIS database are kept up to date.

To examine records to ensure compliance with funding regulations.

To ensure a current understanding of the funding regulations

To engage directly with Operational staff & subcontractors, learners, customers & employers

To organise and deliver training in support of improving understanding of procedures, processes, and compliance rules.

Enforce compliance with procedures, policies, regulations, and legislation.

To project manage ad hoc projects as directed by the Admin & Compliance Manager

The ideal candidate must possess the following Skills, Experience and Qualities:

Experience in funding audits, compliance, and data analysis.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Experience in creating and delivering presentations.

Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail.

Good organisational skills and time management

The ability to think objectively and demonstrate sound judgement.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

2 years previous experience within funding audits

Excellent ICT skills, particularly with Microsoft packages

Knowledge of ESFA and other funding rules and guidance

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

Minimum of GCSE grade C in English and Maths or equivalent

This position is subject to an enhanced criminal records check from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) and will be subject to satisfactory clearance of this check.

If this position is classed as Regulated Activity, it is subject to an Adult & Child barring check.
