Elevation Recruitment Group are working alongside a COMAH-regulated chemical site to recruit a Plant Manager to join their fast paced production facility in Rotherham.

This Plant Manager role is a great opportunity for you to take the lead! You will make key decisions for the plant whilst developing the team and improving efficiencies.

Our client is looking for a dynamic Plant Manager who will embrace change and continuously seek opportunities to drive the site forward.

Duties and responsibilities of the Plant Manager include:

Overall accountability for the site including production, facilities and on site tenants 
Ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective management of employees and services
Budget responsibility and ownership for the production cost centre
Ensure compliance with COMAH regulations and Health & Safety legislation
Act as a primary contact with the HSE and all external parties, ensuring continuing compliance 
Implement and manage stock accuracy and control procedures
To be successful in the Plant Manager role you will need to have the following skills and experience:

HNC or HND qualification in a related subject
Previous experience in a COMAH regulated business is essential 
Experience in operational and facilities management
Highly safety conscious with a working knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety legislation and ISO9001:2008 – ISO14001 operating procedures and systems
NEBOSH certified or working towards qualification (IOSH as a minimum)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others and embrace change
Excellent business and financial competence with proven budget leadership skills
Collaborative people management skills with a passion for engaging and developing others
