Salary: £48,000
Location: Rotherham
Hours: Bespoke days and nights shift pattern- work 12 days out of 28!

Duties of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:
Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance of the infrastructure from an Electrical and Mechanical aspect
Attending to breakdowns
Planned preventative maintenance will be a daily task as one of the core values of the company
Working within a team environment so must be a team player, but also work from own initiative when needed
Electrical installation of new machinery as and when needed
Ensure always adhering to health and safety procedures
Working on a variation of machinery due to nature of business- injection moulding machines, grinders, heat treatment machines and furnaces
Working from drawings both mechanical and electrical
Fault finding on PLC’s
Welding
Fixed wiring inspection and testing
Fabrication and sheet metal work
Desired experience:
You must have at least Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained)
It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
Ideally have 3 years experience within in a multi-skilled maintenance engineer position recently
Must have strong mechanical knowledge but feel confident within electrical skillset also
Ideally have welding and fabrication experience
Must have worked within a manufacturing maintenance background previously
Ideally have PLC fault finding experience
Ideally have 18th edition
Ideally experience with similar machinery mentioned above
Must have the good work ethic, this company are looking for people who live to achieve
