We are working with a leading Robotics company based in Cambridge who are looking for a Control Engineer to join their growing team. Working closely with the software engineering team with a focus on robotics and control. This is a full-time permanent position and occasional travel could be required.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Defining and implementing test scenarios.
* Integrating navigation schemes into robotic systems for movement.
* Create multi-robot control schemes.
* Collaborate and work closely with the embedded engineers and software engineers.
* Writing code and implementing code into robotic systems.
* Take ownership of robotic physical systems.
The Successful candidate will have:
* Computer Science / Engineering Degree BSc / BEng / HND qualification or relevant experience.
* 5+ years experience working as a robotics or control engineer within a software development environment.
* Exceptional organisational and communicational skills.
* Experienced with Python, C++ and writing and testing code.
* Deep understanding of hardware communications.
* Experience with stakeholder management at multiple levels.
* Experienced with Robotic manufacturing.
