Castle Employment Group are working in partnership with a hotel on the coast that specialises in weddings & events whilst still offering leisure breaks. We are recruiting for a CDP to join their already strong kitchen team who can offer support across all sections of the kitchen.

Along with a strong starting salary dependant on previous experience of up to £30,000 you will be entitled to a share of tips paid twice a year, uniform is provided, there is an onsite laundry, full training & development is provided and there is parking on site as driving essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background that has experience with fresh food and will have worked with functions & events. Due to the location of the venue transport would be key and the client is offering on site accommodation for a charge deducted from the monthly salary

Main Responsibilities:

Support the senior team in the kitchen with the preparation & service across lunch & evening services.
Part of the team delivering high levels of food service to weddings & events throughout the year
Compliant with all food safety legislation to a 5-star standard
Work across all areas of the kitchen including larder.Requirements:

Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant venue
Experience with events & volume catering is desirable.
Food safety knowledge
Comfortable working as part of a team across all areas of the kitchen
Access to own transport due to the location of the venue
