Position: Weighbridge Operative
Location: Chesterfield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with occasional weekends
Salary: £11.44 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Operate weighbridge equipment with precision to measure vehicle weights accurately.
Record and maintain weight data for incoming and outgoing vehicles.
Provide customer service by effectively communicating with drivers and customers.
Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure the smooth operation of equipment.
Prioritize safety by always adhering to protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role or as a weighbridge operator preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with drivers and customers.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Basic computer skills for data recording and documentation.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
