JOB TITLE: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location:
Yorkshire and the Humber, South Yorkshire, Sheffield
Job Type:
Permanent, Full-Time
Salary:
£95 - £105 Per day
Job Duties:
Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans
Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Observing and reporting on student progress and behaviour
Required Qualifications:
Experience working with children with SEN
Knowledge of Autism and ADHD awareness
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs
Experience:
Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant
Knowledge and Skills:
Confident and enthusiastic attitude
Strong understanding of SEN principles and practises
Ability to work effectively in a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional training in SEN support
First Aid certification
Degree in Psychology or a Related Field
Working Conditions:
Full-time hours (Term Time)
