Position: Assistant Ecologist
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £23,000 - £27,000

Whether you are an Assistant Ecologist or an established Ecologist seeking the perfect opening, this role offers an exciting prospect.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Ecologist or Ecologist to join a rapidly growing company with four offices already around the Midlands / North that values personal and technical development while providing exposure to prestigious projects with major UK companies.
In this role as an Assistant Ecologist / Ecologist, you will help with taking part in protected species surveys around Sheffield, ensuring a high level of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility. Project coordination, client and stakeholder collaboration, and showcasing the company's capabilities to potential clients will also be integral to your responsibilities.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
* Experience in a UK consultancy
* Report Writing (training given)
* Protected Species licenses (Bat ideally) are desirable for Ecologist-level, but not essential for Assistant Ecologist-level.
