Role Overview and Responsibilities:

Role Purpose:

The NDT Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining product quality and validation through the application of inspection and testing skills on shop processes, both on-site and at customer locations.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 16:30 with overtime available on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct manual Ultrasonic inspection to recognized international standards on tubes, forgings, or rolled bars.

* Set up, calibrate, and operate automated Ultrasonic Equipment for inspecting forged cylinders.

* Provide technical advice on matters associated with non-destructive testing.

* Produce reports for calibration, inspection, and testing carried out on the product.

* Perform physical and visual inspection of raw materials, components, and cylinders at key stages of production to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.

* Execute other NDT operations on manufactured products including Visual, Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI).

* Control visiting third-party inspectors and customers while operating in the inspection areas.

* Perform and document first article inspections to support the component qualification process.

* Carry out identification marking of products to ensure product traceability throughout its operational lifespan.

Role Requirements:

* Strict adherence to all Company policies and procedures.

* Must comply with Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).

* PCN Level 2 Ultrasonic certification (Castings / Forgings) is required.

* MPI PCN Level 2 certification is preferable.

* DPI PCN Level 2 certification is preferable.

* VT PCN Level 2 certification is preferable.
