Pin Point Recruitment is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader for a manufacturing company based in Sheffield.
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for running a highly efficient and agile warehouse department by supporting and leading a warehouse team to ensure the requirements of the customer are delivered and the goals and objectives of the business are met.
To work alongside the Fulfilment and Production Planning departments to ensure distributions are fulfilled to SLA.
Hours:
Monday – Friday - 11:00 - 7:30

Warehouse Team Leader Job Role:
* Management, organisation, and supervision of picking requirements in line with customer SLA’s.
* Organise the replenishment of stocks to maintain stock levels held in the pick face and accurately update the system.
* Manage and monitor the prestart checks on all operational equipment and report any damage/defects to the Warehouse Manager
.• Maintain an accurate up to date stock inventory system.
* Appropriately cascade and communicate KPI and organisation information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and regular interpersonal communication.
* Communicate performance vs plan regularly and the role of escalating any issues that may mean the plan isn't reached that day.
* Take overall responsibility for all aspects of the effective supervision, training, and welfare of your team.
* Ensure compliance with rules, procedures, systems, etc. Whilst striving to continuously improve processes and relationships and instilling this mindset into your team.
* Ensure that the quality of service within the team is maintained at the highest possible standards. Carry out spot checks and work closely with other managers to identify recurring problems and agree, initiate and monitor relevant corrective action.
* Manage the training and development of your team ensuring the skills matrix, online learning and additional training needs are maintained. Ensuring all staff are trained on the relevant tasks and equipment.
* To be aware of and always observe safe-working practices, ensuring others within the designated areas do likewise and to report any breaches immediately.
* Ensure all accidents and near misses are recorded and reported as per company guidelines.
Skills Requred:
* Experienced working with, managing and leading a team in a warehouse environment
* Familiar working within a warehouse environment.
* A self-starter using your initiative to reach goals and solve problems.
* Thorough and analytical in all your work with great attention to detail.
* Excellent in time management and organisation
