Financial Controller - Growing SME - Hybrid Working

JS Recruitment are working with a leader within a field, dedicated to delivering industry leading solutions and services to clients. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join their team. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days per a week in their Normanton Office and 3 days work from home.

You will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations within the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing management accounts, ensuring financial compliance, managing relationships with banks, and leading the finance team amongst other tasks. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Growth and Development Opportunities.Responsibilities as a Financial Controller:

Oversee management accounts, P&L statements, balance sheets, and financial forecasts.
Maintain adherence to financial regulations and standards.
Compile board packs for the executive team and directors.
Present financial information and updates at board meetings.
Assist in securing bonds, managing insurance policies, and exploring financing options.
Maintain relationships with banking partners for efficient operations.
Oversee management and reconciliation of company credit cards.
Manage and lead the finance team, fostering productivity.
Handle timely and accurate VAT reporting.
Monitor and manage daily cash flow.
Ensure timely submission of Subcontractor CIS reports to HRMC.
Record and review journal entries in Xero.
Generate and analyse financial reports from Xero.
Perform regular bank reconciliations in Xero.
Handle company CIS submissions.What you will need as Financial Controller:

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Minimum of 5 years' experience working within a similar role.
Experience of Xero and other financial management software.
