The Company
This Senior Project Manager’s role is with one of the UK’s leading main contractors. They have an excellent reputation and build some of the country’s most iconic buildings. They are a diverse organisation covering most sectors of the built environment and this specific role is within their critical resilience division.
Projects are varied ranging from £500k - £10million in the commercial, retail, and public sector.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience of data centre/critical resilience refurbishment/upgrade projects to oversee 2 – 3 projects at any one time.
Your role will include:
* Overall responsibility for the success the project
* Allocate resources and staff ensuring projects have appropriate on-site supervision
* Assist in the development of programmes for project delivery and monitoring.
* Identify the quality expectations and ensure these are achieved.
* Manage statutory and company requirements for managing Health, Safety, and environment compliance.
* Understands the contractual requirements of the project.
* Identifies and manages risk.
* Agree requirements for time, cost, and quality aspects of trade contractor packages.
* Maintaining good relationships with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors.
* To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with a positive, passionate, and engaging approach. You will have good writing and analytical skills and have solid experience in taking full responsibility and leadership for healthcare fit-out, refurbishment and cut and carve projects.
* Previous experience of working on education refurbishment schemes for a main contractor is essential to be considered for this role.
