Health and Safety Co-Ordinator

Irwin and Colton has been engaged by a well-regarded construction and property services contractor to recruit a Health and Safety Co-ordinator. The company turnover in excess of £190 million and are going through a recruitment drive. This role will be working alongside a team of safety professionals on a range of projects in the surrounding area.

Responsibilities:

Implement health and safety policies and procedures on-site, ensuring compliance and staying updated with legislative changes.
Visit sites and engage with managers, clarifying responsibilities and addressing technical health and safety inquiries.
Conduct audits, inspections, and accident investigations, continuously seeking opportunities for enhancing safety performance.
Collaborate with clients and external stakeholders, serving as a key point of contact. Qualifications

Preferably, some experience in a health and safety role.
NEBOSH general certificate or NEBOSH construction
Strong organisational skills, adept at managing competing priorities.
