Hours: 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am

My client, a global leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a skilled Shift Engineering Team Leader for their brand new Coventry site. They have sites in over 200 countries where they value teamwork, customer service and innovative approaches. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of machinery, contributing to projects and being involved in performing maintenance and reactive tasks while leading a team of engineers.

Reporting to the Engineering manager, you will be responsible for a team of engineers, production support and the completion of reactive and planned maintenance.

Responsibilities will include:

Acting as the substitute for the Head of the centre in their absence
Training the team
Communicating effectively with customers during production
Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the team
Coordinating and participating in breakdowns
Coordinating the team

Requirements:

Advanced fault diagnosis and repair skills - electrical and mechanical
Senior Engineer or Leadership experience
Experience working with a team and deadlines
Logistics/warehouse experience (desirable but not essential)
