Position: Estimator
Salary: >£30k DOE
Location: West Yorkshire
TSR are looking for a Junior Estimator to work with a fire safety company based in West Yorkshire. You will be playing a key role in the Commercial team and will be supplying quotes to Consultants, Main Contractors, and M&E Contractors.
Key Responsibilities for the Estimator
* Commercial pricing of all schemes; domestic, residential & commercial.
* Accurate quotations for each scheme; Sprinkler and /or Water Mist.
* Technical submittals for clients upon request.
* Visit prospective/existing clients to provide technical information on the Company’s products and Services with an allocated Business Development Manager.
Desired Experience and Attributes for the Estimator
* Previous experience ideally within a building services, mechanical or electrical services or a fire suppression related discipline.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to visualise schemes and understand components.
* Diligent, Self-disciplined and well organised.
* Ability to see commercial advantages when producing quotations.
* A desire and expectation to work hard.
* Problem solving and accurate time management.
* Produce clear solutions to client challenges.
* Proactive, confident and able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team.
