About the company:
Our client design, manufacture control panels and plc’s for various industries – automotive, manufacturing, utilities etc. and they are recognised in the industry for their quality and expertise.
About the role:
As a Panel Wirer, you'll play a pivotal role in their manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include:
* Reading and Interpreting: Working from schematics, diagrams, and drawings to determine wiring layouts and connections for control panels.
* Wiring Expertise: Proficiently wire PLC cabinets, mount components, route wires, and terminate connections.
* Component Installation: Install relays, power supplies, switches, and circuit breakers with precision.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct continuity tests and insulation resistance tests to ensure wiring integrity.
* Supporting Testing: Assist with validation and testing processes as needed.
About you:
* Previous experience in Panel wiring of controls and cabinets.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and diagrams.
* Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of NEC/UL/CE standards.
* Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
* Experience working within production timeframes.
