Group Continuous Improvement Manager

Food Manufacturing

UK

£75,000 - £80,000 + £7,000 car allowance and 15% Bonus

There are some businesses that you can’t help but be attracted to. Ones that have an aura which oozes class, displays market strength and industry presence.

Over the last 2-3 years, this giant food manufacturing company has demonstrated some of the most impressive growth in recent times. Following several significant acquisitions, they have had an end-to-end restructure, aligning the groups values and recruiting some of the strongest senior directors in the food sector.

You’ll be joining at a key stage in their growth and alongside the Director of Operational Excellence, you will develop and build a continuous improvement framework that will be rolled out across all of their manufacturing sites in the UK and beyond.

This is the START of the journey.

I must emphasise that this is the beginning of the journey. Your work has the potential to impact the success of this organisation for years to come. While the group framework journey begins, each manufacturing site will vary in its maturity and attitude to continuous improvement. You will need the gravitas and strength in character to onboard each member of the site SLT, deal with objections and work collaboratively to overcome their individual challenges.

CI Team

Some of the manufacturing sites have CI representatives, however this is the beginning of the fellowship of the Group CI team. While this sounds like the title of a new Lord of the Rings production, I can assure you it will be much more adventurous and will continue to grow and the programme develops.

Background

This is an amazing opportunity to join one of the most appealing companies in the Food Manufacturing industry. Ideally you will be a Group CI Manager who has developed from experience in Engineering / Operational leadership roles within the Food Manufacturing industry. While I understand skills are transferable, a Food Manufacturing background is an essential, non-negotiable requirement.

Any experience in developing and rolling out a CI Strategy/Framework would be preferred as well as any experience installing data capture systems.
