We are a leading recruitment agency dedicated to sourcing top talent for various roles in the care sector. Our client, a reputable children's residential service provider, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager to open and lead lead their team. The client provides innovative care services to children and young people who have complex needs.

Role Description:

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for opening a 2 bed Residential Childrens home and the overall management and operation of the home. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality care, compliance with regulatory standards, and the implementation of effective policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be accountable for delivering high quality care within the home, ensuring the care and progress children make is outstanding.
You will be responsible for delivery of quality care services, as well as strategic planning for developments within the home and all day-to-day management matters.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential service, including staffing, budgeting, and resource management.
Recruit , Lead and manage a team of care professionals, providing guidance, support, and supervision as needed.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child, ensuring their well-being and development.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, including Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
Maintain effective communication with external stakeholders, including local authorities, families, and other relevant agencies.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery, implementing improvements as necessary to enhance outcomes for children and young people.
Leading your team along with other professionals, you will provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child focused on obtaining the best outcomes.
You will act as a positive role model to colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth and lasting change.
Responsible for mentoring of staff, organisation of work patterns, facilitation of care focused training to QCF level 3, performance reviews and appraisals.
Service development, budget and financial performance of the home.
The protection, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and young people. Requirements:

5 years' experience working within adult's or children's learning disabilities service at a senior level.
Level 3 or 4 Diploma for Children and Young People's Workforce (or adult equivalent)
Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Young People's Services
Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures, such as The Children's Act 1989
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks, including CQC and Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
A strong manager with a hands-on approach
Experience of budgets and financial management
Commitment to promoting the welfare and well-being of children and young people.
Ability to work flexible and carry out on-call duties.
