You will be joining the team of a growing company based in Sunderland that manufactures and supplies application systems in plastic packaging for the cosmetics, e-liquids and technical industries.
As Production Technician, you will:
Undertake handover at the beginning of each shift
Maintain machines
Perform machine changeovers
Undertake regular quality checks
Effectively repair equipment, tooling, machines and peripherals
Identify future preventative maintenance requirements
Undertake some mechanical repairs
Monitor and check work that has been bonded (occasional)
Provide informal training for new technicians
Occasionally perform operator duties
Ensure the specification of the product is met
Meet the standard cycle time, depending upon the specification sheet
We’re looking for a Production Technician with:
A level 3 Qualification in Mechanical-Engineering
Experience with Novapax and Hester, injection blow moulding/Extrusion BM machines.
Physical fitness for tool changes on large machinery.
Willingness to work overtime during busy periods.
