Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee the extension of a large retail unit in Molton, North Yorkshire. This project presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of a prominent retail establishment.
Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of the construction project from inception to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
* Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.
* Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in retail construction, including ground-up projects and extensions.
* Demonstrable track record of success in managing and delivering retail construction projects on time and within budget.
* Minimum qualifications: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), 3-day First Aid at Work certification, CSCS Black card, Asbestos Awareness training, Fire Marshal training, and Hot Works training.
* Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and make informed decisions under pressure.
