We are looking for a Trainee Paraplanner who wants to embark on the progression path to becoming a Full Paraplanner. The company are a leading financial services firm based in Rayleigh, Essex, who specialise in providing compliance support, investment administration, and business consultancy across the UK. They are seeking a motivated individual to join our investment research team as a Trainee Paraplanner.
Role Overview:
As a Trainee Paraplanner, you will work closely with the Financial Advisers to facilitate the advice to their clients. This role is fast-paced, and time management is crucial. Personal training and development are key components of the first 12 months and beyond, with the successful candidate enrolled in the Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA) qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-screening of cases, including receipt, categorisation, documentation generation, and liaison with Advisers.
Post-sale administration tasks, such as fund investment checks, document cross-referencing, and CRM tool updates.
General administrative duties as required, including platform account checks, document downloads, and ad-hoc paperwork completion.
Collaboration with the Head of Paraplanning to ensure the suitability of advice.
Requirements:
Proficiency in using back-office systems.
Ability to collate and process information within specified time frames.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanour.
Eagerness to begin a career in financial services and progress to a full Paraplanner role.
Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA) qualification will be provided, but a willingness to commit to this training is essential.
