Maintenance Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to work for our client based in York. The position is a permanent role and works on a 3-week shift pattern working Monday – Friday with occasional night shift requirements.
Duties and responsibilities
* Collaborate with supply chain, maintenance and production teams to achieve maintenance tasks effectively.
* Usage of computerised maintenance systems to track stock, job details and PPM.
* Liaise with Contractors and suppliers to ensure company engineering standards are achieved.
* Ensure company Health and safety standards are always met.
* Continuous Improvement and project works to further the business.
The Successful Candidate
* Level 3 or higher qualification in Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical).
* Clear written and verbal communication.
* Logical mind set to balance department requirements.
* Great attention to detail and time management
* Strong IT skills
* ATEX knowledge (Preferable but not required)
