Role Summary 
You'll be working as a part of a global design team, alongside developers and project managers to deliver website and app projects for our US customers. Our digital designers form a crucial part of our customer experience team, making sure we deliver creative, user-centric designs that help our customers reach their goals.   
Our Digistorm design team is based in Australia but our company is global! This role is based out of our Denver, CO office with a hybrid work schedule.   
 
Responsibilities 
As the first Designer on the ground in our US office, reporting to our Design Lead based in Australia, you’ll be responsible for:  
Designing engaging and functional websites from initial discovery, design presentations to go live 
Growing and owning the design for our US customers - while our company is well established and strong this role will adopt a start-up mentality being our first US designer 
Organizing, planning, and leading design workshops with our customers, analyzing data and findings resulting in research-driven wireframes and designs  
Staying up to date with User Experience findings and applying them to your design practice 
Working alongside our developers, product designers, and project managers to create creative, scalable, user-driven solutions for our customer  
Updating existing projects and ad-hoc customer requests  
Keeping our templates and components up to date for optimized workflow. 
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in digital design  
Experience with responsive web design  
Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. 
Experience working with a co-located team and experience with a global company is preferred 
Demonstrate empathy through being an attentive listener, grasping customer’s needs, and quickly building rapport to deliver high customer satisfaction.  
Interaction and prototype experience is beneficial, but not required  
Experience with design libraries, components, and developer handoff is beneficial but not required 
Experience with WCAG and ADA standards is beneficial but not required 
Experience working with a co-located team and experience with a global company is preferred

Salary at Veracross is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. The compensation range for this position is $65k to $80k (annualized USD) and is eligible for an annual bonus based on company performance.
