We are currently seeking an interim Communications Executive, to work with our global FMCG client UL, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

The position can be based at either Blackfriars on London's Victoria Embankment, just a short walk from Blackfriars tube or Kingston-Upon Thames Site. This is a full-time temporary role for 6 Months requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £46,500 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.

Role Description

We are looking for a detail orientated communicator, who is delivery focused and brings creative energy and confidence for a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will balance creativity with impact through collaboration and excellence in execution.

You will play a key role in the implementation of communication campaigns and programmes designed to engage and influence global internal audiences. Specifically, you will take responsibility for content creation, channel management and event planning (key engagement meetings, local TownHalls and employee engagement events) for global communications activities and key projects across UniOps.

Key Accountabilities:

Plan and execute internal communications and events for UniOps in Market teams and UniOps special projects. Delivering a range of activities including: Town Halls, Live Meetings, channel management (including Viva Engage, SharePoint) and campaigns.
Research and actively source and amplify local success stories, including working with colleagues on the writing and editing of content that goes into Townhalls, intranet articles and campaigns, alongside promoting these stories across UniOps core global channels.
Ensure all communications and events are aligned with the UniOps strategy and vision in both messaging as look and feel and therefore contributes to the overall UniOps communications plan.
Support the Business Operations and UniOps communications strategy through insightful, engaging and where necessary change communications to our colleagues and stakeholders.
Support delivery against an agreed plan of internal communications that support and align to key UniOps priorities.
Work closely with other communications colleagues in UniOps and the wider business to share compelling stories and content tailored to communicate to various audiences.
As a member of the UniOps Communications team contribute and drive the positioning of the UniOps brand with employees to drive engagement and sense of belonging.

Requirements:

Communications professional, ideally with an internal communications or transformation background, for a multi-national business
Microsoft apps/viva (comms tools) essential - must have experience and be able to use confidently.
Experience of supporting senior stakeholders
Experienced in managing physical and virtual events, and producing highly engaging creative content
Is a real team player. Keeps a balance between personal accountability and delivery through teamwork.
Excellent written communication skills combined with strong content production skills (Powerpoint, video, intranet (SharePoint), Poppulo)
Experience of partnering with others to deliver as a team
Strong planning and project management skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Is culturally sensitive and embraces diversity
Ability to work autonomously
