An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Manager to join a great food manufacturing faculty in North Yorkshire. Reporting into the Site Technical Manager, this is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and attractive benefits
The successful Site QA Manager will be responsible for:
Providing leadership & direction to the Quality Assurance team to ensure effective management of food safety & quality
Support the business in driving continouous improvement
Ensure factory compliance to customer policies, external certification & GMP standards
Oversee incident management and drive continuous improvement through data-driven investigations
Manage internal audit programs to improve standards and quality
Handle customer interactions, audits and complaints effectively
Drive right-first-time approaches to production and ensure effective performance against KPIs.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience of working in a similar role, ideally in FMCG or similar . You should have a degree in Food Science or related discipline and HACCP Level 3 qualification and experience in retailer quality systems , You should also have awareness of BRC compliance and strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The role will suit someone who has strong leadership skills and has a passion for coaching & developing people and the drive to succeed in a role
This role offers an attractive salary up to £45,000 DOE and the business is commutable from is commutable from York, Leeds, Harrogate, Wetherby, Selby and surrounding areas
