FLSmidth is the leading supplier of engineering, equipment and service solutions to customers in the mining and cement industries.
The position will drive engineering, product development, and order execution for the Pump, Cyclone, and Valve Business Line of FLSmidth. The position will be part of the Senior Management Team responsible for driving sales and profitability. While focused on the above the position will also assist in driving sales, leading employee development, and communicating up and down in the organization.
Your responsibilities
As the Head of Business Operations PCV you will be responsible for leading the global inside sales and Customer Service teams in their daily operation. In your daily duties you will be doing a wide range of tasks hereunder:
Define the standardized proposal processes.
Review complex proposals to reduce risk and validate cost estimations.
Provide support during negotiations and commercial reviews to align with the business line goals.
During the executions phase you will be dealing with leading the Product Engineering and Development teams. While working in close collaboration with Group Manufacturing to guide their efforts to provide efficient unit and spare parts executions. Lastly you will be working closely with the PCV strategic procurement to reduce cost and improve order execution.
Other tasks as a Head of Business Operations PCV would be:
Define the project, unit, and parts order execution processes and align with all relevant stakeholders.
Responsible for leading Unit Management team.
Manage Service Center in Shanghai.
What you bring
An engineering / technical background.
10+ years of experience in Management with a product or closely related organization, experience with slurry pumps a plus.
Experience leading engineering or product development teams plus experience in order execution.
Background in continuous improvement.
A proven record of developing employees, managers, and complete teams.
Energy and enthusiasm for driving results.
