The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has experience working in a medical office interacting with patients, presents professionally, has excellent communication and computer skills, and a tremendous attention to detail; an energetic individual who is dedicated, friendly, organized, reliable, a good multitasker, and customer-service oriented. This individual will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties, patient interactions, and supporting the medical staff.

Key responsibilities include:
* Answering patient calls, emails, and voicemails.
* Scheduling appointments for new and current patients
* Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits
* Checking in/out patients while ensuring COVID safety protocols
* Managing intake/medical forms
* Rooming patients (must be able to push patients in a wheelchair when necessary)
* Keeping the office and patient rooms tidy and organized.
* Providing support to the clinical staff as needed.
* Managing and creating patient files.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office environment that includes patient coordination activities on the phone (e.g. scheduling appointments) and in the office (e.g. when they come for appointments)
* An undergraduate degree (preferred) or some college education
* Ability to master our suite of computer technologies such as Chromebooks / Mac Books, G-suite, Excel, EMR/EHR Systems, scheduling software, etc (interview process may involve testing/verification)
* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines.
* Exceptionally professional written and verbal communication skills including phone and email etiquette.
* Demonstrate a positive, can-do, caring, and empathic demeanor at all times
* Key characteristics: organized, intelligent, dependable, good listener, professional, passionate, detail oriented, team player.
* Knowledge of HIPAA policies and best practices.
* Must be 100% committed to COVID safety protocols (we do not treat COVID patients; we have strict policies aimed at COVID prevention).
* Must provide proof of COVID vaccination prior to starting employment
