Overview:
Ensure customer technology and service requirements have been correctly identified and commit TDW resources to ensure quality execution and customer satisfaction. THIS POSITION COULD BE FILLED AT ONE OF OUR FACILITIES IN CYPRESS CA., SALT LAKE CITY, UT., or TULSA, OK.
Responsibilities:
Processes orders with accurate pricing and part numbers in a timely manner
Communicates with other departments to meet the customers’ delivery requirements
Ensures accuracy of bill-to and ship-to addresses for customers
Reviews order for credit terms and payment with OSR and Credit Manager
Maintains and communicates special pricing agreements between Outside Sales and the customer
Enforces pricing, as defined TDW pricing policies and guidelines
Keeps Outside Sales Representatives apprised of any and all customer request changes
Negotiates contracts with daily requests, annual blanket orders, and large projects, with Outside Sales and select customers, Manages emergency phone during off-hours on a rotating basis
Implements and maintains product price adjustments as directed
Stays apprised of all TDW products: obsolete, current, and new product releases
Develops, maintains, utilizes, and enforces knowledge of TDW operational procedures, including acceptable Terms and Conditions (both legal and commercial) to customers and Outside sales
Develops and maintains knowledge of TDW manufacturing processes, and then communicates that knowledge appropriately, Stays apprised of industry design codes and market trends, including competitive
Ensures that the teams’ Terms and Conditions for quotations and orders are in compliance with TDW standards
Obtains customer requirements for Engineered to Order (ETO) requests from OSR’s and customers,
facilitates continued communication between OSR’s and customers regarding ETO’s, and inputs ETO information into ETQ system
Assists TDW customers and colleagues define which TDW product or group of products best address the customers’ operational requirements
Works with other TDW departments and personnel to enable effective coordination and resolution of all customer issues such as change orders, complaints, returns, repairs, literature requests, order expedition, and shipment tracking
Ensures that all correspondence and communication, written and verbal, with customers are professional and accurate.
Ensures all contracts and practices are in compliance with Legal and TDW policies and procedures
Leads projects, as assigned by the department supervisor, manager, or designee
Participates in continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in business or engineering discipline recommended, or Associate Degree with either 3-4 years of experience as a Jr. Inside Sales Representative with TDW or 5-7 years of industry experience in design, field services, or manufacturing
Ability to understand mechanical products and functions along with engineering terminology and industry design codes
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Ability to function in high-stress, customer situations with short lead time
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines
Good interpersonal, written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
Ability to present information to large groups of people in a variety of settings
Intermediate CRM/ERP database skill ( SalesForce, AX)
Intermediate personal computer, database, MS Office, other electronic means of communication
Knowledge of international shipping regulations and processes, preferred
Foreign language speaking and writing skills preferred
