Position Overview: 
We are seeking a Bookkeeping Clerk who is passionate about maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with established accounting procedures. The Bookkeeping Clerk will be responsible for performing a variety of bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Perform data entry to record financial transactions accurately and efficiently
Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders
Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
