Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting various accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
Perform month-end and year-end close procedures
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Support internal and external audit processes
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Famous, Sage, SAP)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
CPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required
