Senior Accountant

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the company's financial accounting and reporting processes.
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant accounting standards.
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast.
Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting transactions.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits and reviews.
Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, with at least [insert number of years] years of experience.
