Clinical Lab Scientist

JOB DESCRIPTION:
CTTX Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Lab Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will utilize your knowledge and expertise in molecular biology, chemistry, hematology, and microbiology to analyze samples, interpret results, and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to, molecular biology techniques, immunoassays, chemistry analyzers, hematology analyzers, and microbiology cultures.
Accurately analyze and interpret test results, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, performing regular quality control checks and calibration.
Follow established protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain quality standards.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and provide consultation on laboratory test selection and interpretation.
Participate in continuing education and stay updated on advancements in laboratory science.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification, with a minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
Strong knowledge and experience in molecular biology, chemistry, hematology, and microbiology.
Experience with laboratory analysis equipment and software.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
