Litigation Attorney (Lemon Law)

Novel Technology Services is excited to announce an opening for a Lemon Law Litigation Attorney. This position will be vital in representing clients who have experienced issues with defective vehicles under California's Lemon Law. The ideal candidate will have specific experience in lemon law litigation and a proven track record of advocating for consumer rights. This role involves managing cases from initial consultation through trial, focusing on achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of lemon law cases, providing legal representation and advice to clients.
Conduct initial case evaluations to assess the merits of lemon law claims.
Draft and file pleadings, including complaints, motions, and discovery documents.
Negotiate settlement agreements with manufacturers and their legal representatives.
Conduct discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and requests for documents.
Prepare for and participate in trial proceedings, presenting compelling arguments on behalf of clients.
Keep clients informed about their cases and legal processes, providing clear, knowledgeable guidance.
Stay current with developments in lemon law and consumer protection regulations.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active membership in the California State Bar.
3+ years of experience in lemon law litigation or related fields.
Demonstrated knowledge of California Lemon Law statutes and regulations.
Strong litigation skills with experience in negotiation and trial preparation.
Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and in a deadline-driven environment.
