About the Role
Zenni is looking for a proven creative leader and someone who understands the current digital social media video landscape for brands. You will lead our new direct-to-consumer video editing team and help build it from the ground up. We move in a fast-paced environment to prove the success of our video content through data and be adaptable to reach our target audiences. You will also work with our creative, brand, and social teams to ensure brand alignment with our content. For this position, it’s important to know about emerging digital content creation trends and tools (like CapCut and native phone editors) as it is traditional tools like Adobe’s creative suite.
Reporting to the Director, Influencer and Direct-to-Consumer Marketing, this is a contract-to-hire, hybrid position that requires 2-3 days per week in our studio in the Arts District.
Requirements
Manage a growing team of editors as part of a high-volume digital video production team
Develop a templated process for social media video that’s high quality and easily repeatable
Both plan and execute video projects from capture through edit
Attend meetings with social media, brand, and creative teams to foster a collaborative work environment and ensure brand alignment
Create video production templates for external influencers to use in the development of their content
Ensure the team has a healthy process for feedback and critique that is supportive and constructive
Integrate interactive and shoppable elements into video content
Review data on published videos to alter content over time based on results
Qualifications
6+ years of experience leading creative development and editing for digital video content
3+ years of management experience
Proficiency with Adobe’s creative tools
Experience with CapCut a major plus
Experience with cameras and capturing video a major plus
Strong creative background (experience working in multiple steps of the creative process such as cinematography, producing, and motion graphics a major plus)
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Passion for social media/digital content creation
Relevant portfolio/reel of recent projects
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under deadlines
As of 04/04/2024, the expected range for this position is $49 to $62 per hour on a 40 hour work week. Actual pay within this range will be based upon several factors, including without limitation education, work experience, certifications, geographic pay differentials, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs. The Company anticipates that the reasonable expected salary for this position could change in the future and, therefore, the Company retains the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for the position for various reasons, including the Company’s business needs.
