Job Description
Were looking for a Producer, with all the training and certifications, who will maintain complete control of project schedules, budgets, risks and issues to ensure successful delivery of a complex production that spans software development, content creation, hardware integrations, and wild expectations. We want someone who will own the project, someone to be a force multiplier and not wait for action items to come to them, but to truly drive every aspect of the development process.
For those of you still reading, youll be working with many other friendly, experienced producers, project managers, and coordinators working across several teams. Youll be shepherding a talented team of clever and aspirational people to the Promised Land (with brief sight-seeing trips through the Valley of Chaos, the Cliffs of Insanity, and The Swamp of Despair). Your teammates have a passion for filmmaking and storytelling and want to be inspired by you, nurtured by you, and have their timecards approved by you.

Responsibilities
* Work closely with internal and external cross-functional groups to direct all aspects of experience development from concept, to launch thru live operations, and deliver great experiences that achieve business, financial, and strategic goals
* Responsible for budgeting, scheduling and tracking development. Identifying and mitigating risks associated with key-milestones both for internal teams and external teams
* Proactively communicate and manage expectations with clients about project budget, scope and deadlines
* Ability to craft and review SOWs with a knack for accurately identifying anticipated project burn and scope
* Manage the teams overall execution strategy, identifying critical path issues, removing roadblocks, and driving efficiency and accountability in execution
* Lead day to day production of cross-disciplinary teams while also being able to see things from a ten thousand foot view to ensure work also aligns with the company goals
* Work closely with the Production team and department leads, keeping them informed of any issues or needs
* Lead the team to excellence autonomously, while fostering a positive team culture and an environment that motivates developers to bring their best
* Experience handling multiple vendor relationships and building and maintaining relationships with external partners/clients
* Can translate critical success factors into a plan that manages scope and project focus to deliver best quality given project budget, resourcing and constraints
* Able to quickly and effectively provide project costings to the Business Development team
* Understands the need for a strategic approach to comms and basics of negotiation techniques
* Takes a holistic view of the product or project and use it to align the team and stakeholders
* Provides guidance and mentorship to Junior Producers
* Stay abreast of new trends in content and technology in the gaming and video production communities and suggest new ways to implement these trends/technologies
Requirements
Baseline
* 8+ years experience in project management with a proven track record of released software products and/or commercially-released games
* Expert knowledge and extensive experience in an Agile environment; Certified Scrum Master highly preferred
* Expert knowledge and extensive experience working in Jira and Confluence
* Not afraid to get in the trenches and be hands on while fostering a positive and creative environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to direct a team while promoting a positive morale in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment
Bonus Points
* Past experience working with VR/AR content and understanding what makes them unique
* Experience with Mavenlink or other project management software
* PMP / Six Sigma / Scrum Alliance Certification
* Desire to specialize in a creative or technical discipline, to become a production minded domain expert in a field other than Jira tickets
* Desire to make the world not suck
