AECOM is currently seeking Mid-career or Senior level Geologists to support our Water Resources Business Line in Sacramento, CA that are ready to contribute to challenging and interesting projects that provide direct value to our local communities.
Your responsibilities may include:
Communicating and executing surface and subsurface field geologic and geotechnical exploration, and managing support staff required to execute investigations
Experience with logging soil borings, soil sampling, geotechnical drilling, and piping procedures and analysis  
Performing geologic field reconnaissance and mapping for the identification of geologic hazards and site characterization
Providing direction on the design and installation of ground water wells and geotechnical instrumentation (VWP’s, inclinometers, transducers, etc.)
Providing interpretation of site conditions including: geologic, geochemical, and geophysical data and preparing geotechnical and geologic reports
Developing geologic models for complex geologic site conditions; geological mapping; Laboratory testing programs
Conducting geologic research, and developing innovative ways to advance projects with the latest technologies
Performing liaison activities with regulatory agencies (local, state, and federal agencies) on behalf of our clients
Assisting in the preparation of project documentation including reports, project communications, and lead design drawings and report figures that are of a high professional standard
