T2 Tech is assisting their prestigious client in San Diego, CA who is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join their team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in various healthcare settings. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Your role will include administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and providing education and emotional support to patients and their families.
The Responsibilities
Assess and monitor patient's condition and needs
Administer medications and treatments, including injections and IV therapy
Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Adhere to nursing policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Stay updated with the latest advancements in nursing practice
Requirements
Valid nursing license in the state of practice
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong attention to detail
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Flexibility to workday, evening, and weekend shifts
Basic computer skills
Work scheduled shifts and shift differentials
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an acute care setting
Experience with electronic medical records
Experience with patient education and counseling
Working conditions and Physical requirements
Regular day, evening, night and weekend shifts available
OSHA Category A – potential for exposure to blood and other infectious body substances.
Bending, lifting, standing, walking, must possess the physical ability to perform CPR.
