We have an immediate opening for an Body Shop Technician at our Body Shop in Frederick, MD. Our Body Shop Technicians are a vital member of our team and are charged with performing collision repairs, painting, and alignments. Work at the most modern truck paint and body shop in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area! Our Body Shop houses a 60 ft. state-of-the-art AFC spray booth featuring the most current technology available: it is capable of painting two trucks at the same time, in two different colors, while all of the exhaust is filtered to meet EPA standards. We provide light and heavy-duty repairs for school buses, vans, and utility bodies. We also refurbish and modify vehicles including corporate re-identification.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Dismount and remount tires
Align the wheel system
Tear down and diagnostics
Compile complete parts list
Repair damaged areas to industry standard
Prep surfaces for refinishing
Refinish and color-match paint
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have their own hand tools and relevant training and/or experience, preferably with medium and/or heavy-duty trucks. Must be self-motivated, team player ready to hit the ground running.
SKILL, TRAINING, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
At least 3 years of experience in an automotive or medium/heavy duty truck repair shop
Box truck / trailer repair experience preferred
Must have own tools
Saturday Hours as Required
