About the Role:
The Human Resource Advisor will act as a key member of the HR team in administering a wide array of day-to-day HR operations. The HR Advisor will provide high level and hands-on support to the HR and Management teams at Eriez in areas of Employee Development, Employee Communications, Benefits Administration, System Administration, and more.
This is an exempt position, reporting to the Human Resources Manager.
Responsibilities:
Onboarding and Offboarding administration - Full employee life-cycle management
Employee Development - Researches and makes recommendations to manager on mandatory HR related training for the workforce and area training providers to facilitate employee training. Works with managers on internal HR trainings for managers or General Workforce in various areas
Employee Engagement and Recognition / Rewards - Rewards and recognition platform management
Employee Communications - Acts as a key communications contributor for Eriez Organizational Announcements (electronic bulletin boards, Company intranet, emails, etc.). Partner with Eriez Marketing team on communication initiatives, channels, platforms, and messaging
Benefits Administration -Performs routine tasks required to administer benefit programs- including invoicing, benefits administration,401K administration and Annual benefits enrollment
Maintains Eriez HR business systems for new, existing, and terminated employees 
Performs other duties as assigned.  
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in: Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field required. SHRM-CP or PHR a plus 
5 plus years of progressive full-time Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
Organizational skills and attention to detail 
Strong background in Microsoft Office Suite 
Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines  
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality, representing Eriez core mission, vision, and values 
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s ERP and HR systems
