Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 1-6 through a shift successfully, ensuring that all of Sundae’s customer experience standards are met or exceeded
Assist the Store Manager with training, coaching, and mentoring a team of 8-20 employees in job related skills and customer service techniques
Generate positive customer interactions through effective leadership and knowledge of our brand standards and processes
Assist with emergency coverage and oversee store operations during short absences of the Store Manager
Manage high-quality waffle cone, toppings, and sauces production standards while meeting heavy volume demands
Create production preparation lists based on seasonal par levels
Assist the Store Manager in sustaining operational inventory levels by monitoring waste and controlling portion sizes
Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and appearance throughout the store
Participate and contribute to regular staff, management, and leadership meetings

Requirements
2+ years of customer service experience required
1+ year of foodservice supervisor experience required
High school diploma or equivalent
18 years of age or older
Must be able to reliably commute to Glenwood Springs, CO
Valid Serv Safe certificate or equivalent (may be obtained within 60 days of hire date)
Physical Requirements:
Move, traverse or remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours
Constantly use manual (e.g., scooping ice cream) and automatic food service equipment and touchscreens
Regularly move up to 25 pounds for a distance of 50 feet or more
Occasionally move up to 50 pounds for a distance of 25 feet or more
Occasionally ascend/descend ladder to clean or lift items stored above
Occasionally position self to clean, maintain equipment, and retrieve items below counter height
Benefits
Total hourly compensation range: $20.00-28.00 (includes base + tips)
Full-time, hourly position, eligible to earn overtime
