Sigma Defense is seeking a Systems Engineer III to work on an upcoming Navy contract in the Charleston, SC area.
This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. The candidate selected for this role will be offered the position on the condition that the contract is awarded to our organization.

Requirements
10 years of full-time professional experience in systems engineering, with 2 of the years being full-time experience at the system level in any of the following areas: requirements definition, system design parameters, concepts operation, risk assessment, productivity studies/analyses, performance analyses, test and evaluation, post-delivery support of COE or EW Systems.
3 years of full-time professional experience in each of the following skillsets/disciplines:
Operating Systems experience in Windows and Linux.
Linux System Administrator.
Hardware and Software configuration management of tracking bug, enhancements, requirements, risks, test results, and tasks.
System and Network Security related activities to include design, implementation, configuration and enforcement of security controls on network, hardware, and software components and devices.
1 year of full-time professional experience support of total Life-Cycle system design or equivalent academic background.
Personnel Clearance Level:
Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active, DoD-issued TS/SCI clearance.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
